8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu’s Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai Novels Will Get Anime

A leak from Baidu confirmed that the light novels written by FUNA and illustrated by Touzai, Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai from 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu (Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for my Retirement), will have an anime adaptation. The premiere is scheduled for January 2023 in Japan, and no production details or a scheduled release date have been revealed.

FUNA Y Touzai they began publishing the light novels through the imprint K Ranobe Bunko from the publisher Kodansha in June 2017. A manga adaptation by the hand of Keisuke Motoe is published through the digital service Suiyoubi no Sirius from the publisher Kodansha since June 2017.

Mitsuha Yamano falls off a cliff and finds herself transported into some kind of fantasy world of medieval Europe. There, during a battle with wolves that almost cost her her life, she realizes that she has the ability to go back and forth between Earth and this new world. Mitsuha decides to use this ability as much as she can. Why? To save for her retirement, of course. She intends to save eighty thousand gold coins, and this is the story of her plans to achieve it.
