An office worker and her cat arrive on The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today
On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Hitsuji Yamada, The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today (Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu), a new promotional image of the project was shared. The press release revealed the voice cast and production crew, and confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for next July in Japan.
Yamada began publishing the manga through the service Suiyoubi no Sirius from the publisher kodansha in August 2018, and subsequently began its publication on paper in the magazine Monthly Shōnen Sirius in October 2021.

Synopsis for The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today
When Saku took in a stray black cat, he never thought it would become the equivalent of a life partner in the home. But Yukichi, a giant cat that towers over Saku, is no ordinary feline. He prides himself on his culinary skills and a good deal at the supermarket always makes his whiskers twitch. Saku may not have woken up yet, but at least he has Yukichi.
