ATRI: My Dear Moments Visual Novel To Be Adapted To Anime

During the event Aniplex Online Fest 2022 the production of an anime adaptation of the visual novel developed by Sakura, front wing Y iMel Inc., ATRI: My Dear Moments. The press release revealed production details but did not confirm a scheduled release date.

The visual novel was released in June 2020 and is available on consoles. switchdevices Android and PC via Steam, counting on the latter with a playable demo where the reviews are mostly positive. This is one of the projects by front wing Y Sakuracreators of “The Fruit of Grisaia“, Y Asuta Konnoscreenwriter of “If My Heart Had Wings“.

Production team

• Makoto Katu (Yagate Kimi ni Naru, Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios TROYCA.
• Jukki Hanada (Steins;Gate, Nanatsu no Taizai, No Game No Life) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.

Synopsis for ATRI: My Dear Moments

In the near future, a sudden and inexplicable rise in the sea has left much of human civilization underwater. Ikaruga Natsuki, a boy who lost his mother and his leg in an accident a few years earlier, returns disillusioned from a hard life in the big city to find his old home in the countryside half-swallowed by the sea. With no family, all he has in his name is the boat and submarine left to him by his oceanologist grandmother, and his debts. His only hope of regaining his lost dreams for the future is to seize an opportunity presented to him by shady debt collector Catherine. They set out to search the sunken ruins of his grandmother’s laboratory in order to find a treasure rumored to have been left there by her.

But what they find is not riches or jewels; she is a strange girl who lies asleep in a coffin at the bottom of the sea. Attri. Atri is a robot, but the way she looks and the richness of her emotions would fool anyone into believing that she is a living, breathing human being. In gratitude for being rescued, she makes a statement to Natsuki. “I want to fulfill my master’s last order. Until I do, I’ll be your leg!” In a small town that is slowly being engulfed by the ocean, an unforgettable summer is about to begin for this mysterious robot boy and girl…
