Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story anime is getting a second season

On the official site for the studios original anime Bandai Namco Pictures, Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story, the production of a second season was announced to be released in January 2023 in Japan. The press release included a promotional video and a visual for this sequel, while the platform Crunchyroll will continue to handle its distribution in the West.

Synopsis for Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story

Infamous among those who bet on golf games, Eve uses her exceptional golfing skills to make a living, betting and winning against various opponents. Known as the “Rainbow Bullet”, she swears to defeat her enemies and conquer the world of underground golf using only three clubs. However, Eve’s undefeated universe stumbles after she plays a fair game with Aoi Amawashi, a golf prodigy who came to the country of Nafrece to participate in a golf tournament. Armed with talent and born in the perfect environment for golf, Aoi the “Innocent Tyrant” calmly crushes her enemies with a bright smile on her face.

After their match, Eve and Aoi become intrigued with each other and vow to compete again one day. Eve’s aggressive and risk-taking approach challenges Aoi’s constant elitist style of play, and the two geniuses may be able to take golf to new heights.
