Black Clover will enter a three-month hiatus prior to its final story arc

The leaks of the next edition of the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump confirmed that the manga written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata, black clover, will enter a pause of at least three months prior to the start of the last plot arc of the work. The editorial department and the author of the work wrote about it:
- «Thanks for always reading Black Clover. The work will be absent from the next edition (around May 9) to prepare its final arc. After consulting with Yuuki Tabata on this matter, it has been decided that the author will take a break for a certain period of time and then come back to write the continuation of the series. Due to these circumstances, this break is expected to last about 3 months. We will report more exact dates in upcoming issues of Weekly Shonen Jump. We apologize to all the readers who are looking forward to the series, but we hope that everyone will understand. We hope you continue to support Black Clover». [Departamento Editorial]
- «If I followed my own feelings, I would have kept drawing relentlessly. But after thoroughly discussing it with the Editorial Department, and in order to draw the manuscripts of the final arc as well as possible, I will take a long break. I feel sorry for all the readers who look forward to the series every week. Black Clover will be even more exciting and I will put all my strength and spirit back to finish it properly, so I hope you can wait until then». [Yuuki Tabata]

Tabata began publication of the manga in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from the publisher Shueisha in February 2015. The play inspired a 170-episode anime adaptation produced by Studio Pierrotunder the direction of Tatsuya Yoshihara Y Ayataka Tanemura and scripts written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu Y Hatsuo Narareleased in October 2017. The production of a feature film is confirmed and its premiere is scheduled for the year 2023 in Japan.
Synopsis for Black Clover
Asta and Yuno were dumped at the same church on the same day. Raised together as children, they came to know the “Wizard King”, a title given to the strongest wizard in the kingdom, and vowed to compete with each other to see who could become the next Wizard King. However, as they grew older the great difference between them became apparent. While Yuno is able to wield magic with amazing power and control, Asta cannot use magic at all, and desperately tries to awaken his powers by physically training.
When they turn 15, Yuno receives a spectacular Grimoire with a four-leaf clover, while Asta receives nothing. However, soon after, Yuno is attacked by a person named Lebuty, whose main goal is to get hold of Yuno’s Grimoire. Though hopeless and on the brink of defeat, Asta finds the strength to survive by hearing Yuno’s voice, and unleashing his inner emotions, he receives a Grimoire of a five-leaf clover, a “Black Clover” that grants him enough power to overcome the threat. Now they both have a chance to become Wizard King!
