Boushoku no Berserk light novels will have an anime

A press release reported that the light novels written by Ichika Isshiki and illustrated by fame, Boushoku no Berserk: Ore dake Level to Iu Gainen wo Toppa suru (Berserk of Gluttony), will have an anime adaptation. The press release did not reveal production details or a scheduled release date.

Isshiki and Fame began publishing the light novels through the publisher Micro Magazine in November 2017. The publisher will publish the eighth volume on October 28 in Japan. The work is also inspiring a manga adaptation by daisuke takinowhich is published in the digital magazine Comic Ride from the publisher Micro Magazine since March 2018.

Fate, a guardian who had been working for the castle, is harassed by some charges. Son is about the constant attacks of hunger caused by an ability that he obtained at birth. A useless ability, which only serves to make him hungrier, however, unbeknownst to him, he has a hidden ability.
One day, after killing a thief who had sneaked into the castle, Fate finally realized her true power. She possesses an ability that feeds on the soul of the subjects she kills, absorbing all of their powers. And so, finally, her constant hunger was sated for the first time. Now, the man who had been treated like a heap of trash has outgrown the concept of power levels, and with his terrible strength he will begin to rear his head…
