Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi romcom to be adapted into anime
A press release reported that the manga written and illustrated by Kai Ikada, Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi (Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!), will have an anime adaptation that will be released in 2023 in Japan. The press release did not reveal production details, but did specify that the voice actress Ayane Sakura will play the lead, Minami Fuyuki.
Ikada began publishing the manga through the service Shōnen Jump Plus from the publisher Shueisha in September 2019, where it is still in publication. Among other works in his repertoire you can find “Kanojo wa Mizumizushii” Y “Great Old: Dragon no Tsukurikata“, the first being a one-shot and the second a manga serialized in 2017.
Synopsis of Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi
Tsubasa Natsukawa has just moved from Tokyo to Hokkaido, in the dead of winter. Unaware of the distance between the cities of the country, she gets out of the taxi in the next city of her destination to be able to see the surroundings of her house. But she is surprised when she learns that the “next town” is three hours away. But she, too, meets a cute gyaru dosanko (born and raised in Hokkaido) named Minami Fuyuki, who braves minus 8 degree weather in standard gyaru attire: short skirts and bare legs.
