Eiyuuou, Bu wo Kiwameru Tame Tenseisu Anime Reveals New Trailer
On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Hayaken and illustrated by nagu, Eiyuuou, Bu wo Kiwameru Tame Tenseisu: Soshite, Sekai Saikyou no Minarai Kishi (Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire), a new trailer for the project was posted. The video confirms that the premiere remains scheduled for January 2023 in Japan.
The press release also revealed new members of the voice cast, including:
- Tomori Kusunoki as Leone Otta.
- Wakana Kuramochi as Liselotte Arcia.
The light novels have already inspired an adaptation to a series of two-episode shorts, released in November 2020 and available through the publisher’s official YouTube channel. For their part, Hayaken and Kuromura began publishing the light novels through the publishing label HJ Bunko of Hobby Japan in November 2019.

- Mitsutaka Hirota (Kanojo, Okarishimasu, Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor, Nanbaka) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Reichiro Ofuji is in charge of character design, with the assistance of Tomoko Miyakawa, Rion Matsuda Y makifukui.
- Kenta Higashouji (Build Divide: Code Black, Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi) is responsible for the composition of the soundtrack.
Synopsis for Eiyuuou, Bu wo Kiwameru Tame Tenseisu: Soshite, Sekai Saikyou no Minarai Kishi
With the blessing of the Goddess, he became a “Divine Knight” and founded an Empire. As time passed, he grew older, and by the time the heavens called to him, the Goddess appeared before him, asking for his last wish. He wished to be reincarnated in the future. He dedicated his whole life to his people, he had no time to master his own arts. This time, he wishes to live for himself, forging his body to the limit. The Goddess fulfilled his wish.
