the distributor Konichiwa Festival announced that the film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time It will hit theaters in Mexico and Latin America starting on September 29. Details about the countries and theater chains that will screen the film will be announced soon, but the distributor has already revealed a promotional image.

The data had already been revealed several weeks ago during a podcast of the chain cinepolis on YouTube, but only the date had been announced. According to the chain’s catalog of upcoming releases, the film will be released on normal screens on September 29, but there are also releases scheduled on 4DX/2D and IMAX screens for October 6, possibly in select theaters. It is also listed that the film will only be available in its original language with Spanish subtitles.

Hideaki Anno was in charge of directing the feature film Studio KharaIn collaboration with Hiroyasu Kobayashi, mahiro maeda Y Daisuke Onizuka.
Takeishi Honda (Kill la Kill, Perfect Blue, Hajime no Ippo) was in charge of animation direction.

Evangelion Synopsis: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time

The fourth and final installment of Rebuild of Evangelion. Misato Katsuragi and his anti-NERV group Wille arrive in Parin, a city reddened by coreization. The Wunder crew lands in a containment tower. They have 720 seconds to restore the city. When a horde of NERV-EVAs appears, Mari’s upgraded EVA Unit-08 must intercept them. On the other hand, Shinji, Asuka and Rei (provisional name) have been wandering in the Japanese lands. Shinji Ikari continues to drift after losing his will to live, but the place he arrives teaches him what hope means. Finally, the Instrumentality Project is launched and Wille makes a last and exhausting stand to avoid the Final Impact.
