Synopsis for Fumetsu no Anata e
An Orb, known only as “It”, is launched to Earth to be observed from afar. Able to change the shape of beings whose reflections he captures, he first turns into a rock and then, due to the increase in temperature, into moss. He is inept at moving until one snowy day, a wolf at death’s door barely passes. When he takes the form of the animal, he becomes aware of its existence and begins to wander with an unclear destination in mind. Soon, he meets the wolf’s master, a young man who hopes that his tribe will return from a paradise full of fish and fruit in the south. Although the boy feels lonely, he still hopes that those whom he loves in memories of him have not forgotten him and that he will one day be reunited with them.
The boy wants to explore new surroundings and decides to leave his home with “It” to find paradise using the footprints left by his tribe. However, with a seriously injured body and no sight of his older comrades, what will become of the boy? Fumetsu no Anata and illustrates the story of an immortal being experienced by humanity, meeting all kinds of people in many places throughout time.
