Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear dates his return with a new trailer

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Kumano and illustrated by 029, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, the second promotional video for the second season of the project was published. The press release confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for next April in Japanand that this sequel will be titled Kuma Kuma Bear Punch!.

The video shows a fragment of the opening theme for this second season, entitled “Kimi to no Mirai” and performed by Azumi Waki.

Kumano began publishing the novels on the website Shoutsuka ni Narou in 2014, and later the publisher Shufu to Seikatsusha began its publication on paper in May 2015. In addition to a manga adaptation by Sergeythe work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios EMT Squaredunder the direction of Yuu Nobuta and scripts written by Takashi Aoshimareleased in October 2020.

Takashi Aoshima (Himouto! Umaru-chan, yuru yuri) handled series composition.
yuki nakano (Boku no Tonari ni Ankoku Hakaishin ga Imasu) was in charge of character design.
shigeo komori (K-On!, Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata, Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi) is in charge of composing the soundtrack.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Synopsis

Yuna, a fifteen year old girl, starts playing her first VRMMO game. She has made billions of yen in stocks, and confines herself to her house to play without going to school. Today a major update has hit the game and she gets a super rare and untradeable bear outfit. But wearing it is so embarrassing that she can’t bring herself to equip it, it doesn’t even help that it’s just a game. Also, when she answers the satisfaction survey about the new update and restarts the game, she finds out that she is in a strange forest and is wearing the costume of it. Where I am? A message from God? A different world? If she’s wearing the bear outfit (which is a super powerful item) it means she’s invincible, but if she takes it off she’s just a normal girl. The adventure that Yuna never asked for has just begun!
