Kyokou Suiri Season 2 Reveals New Promo Video

During a panel held at the Anime Expo event, a new promotional video was shared for the second season of the anime adaptation of the light novels written by kyo shirodaira and illustrated by Chasiba Katase, Kyou Suiri (In/Spectre). The series will premiere in January 2023.
It was also revealed that the voice actors Aoi Yūki Y Makoto Furukawa They will join the series’ voice cast to play the characters Yuki Onna and Muroi, respectively.
kyo shirodaira began the publication of light novels with illustrations of hiro kiyohara in 2011 through the publishing label Kodansha Novelslater he moved to the Kodansha Taiga label, where he began to use the illustrations of Chasiba Katase. The editorial Kodansha has published a total of four volumes to date. The first season of twelve episodes aired in the season of Winter-2020 (January-March)being distributed by Crunchyroll in the West.
Production team
- Keiji Gotō (Choujikuu Robo Meguru, Kiddy Grade, Sengoku Collection) returns to take over directing at the studios Brain’s Base.

Kyokou Suiri Synopsis
Hidden in plain sight, spirits known as youkai inhabit the world. Although most are benign, a subset threatens the tenuous peace between youkai and humanity. Ever since he agreed to become their “God of Wisdom”, Kotoko Iwanaga has served as a mediator between the two kingdoms, solving any supernatural problem that comes her way. At a local hospital, she Kotoko becomes close to Kurou Sakuragawa, a college student whose long-term relationship ended in an unfortunate breakup. Kotoko harbors feelings for him and suspects that something supernatural is hiding within her harmless appearance, so she asks Kurou for her help in helping the youkai.
Two years later, the news of an idol who was accidentally crushed to death by steel beams floods the press. However, months later, sightings begin to speak of a faceless woman wielding a steel beam. As with any supernatural problem, Kotoko and her partner set out to stop this spirit from wreaking havoc, but this case may turn out to be much more sinister and personal than they might have thought.
