Lycoris Recoil anime could dominate in sales this season
In a popular comment forum in Japan it was reported that the complete package with the six Blu-ray compilations of the original anime from the studios A-1 Pictures, Lycoris Recoilis occupying the eighth position in the reservation ranking of the sales platform amazon. This is a prediction that the series could dominate in sales during the season of Summer-2022 (July-September)especially due to the fact that it is the only one that is within the first positions of the list.
The series has been broadcast since July 2 and is confirmed with a total of thirteen episodes, while the platform Crunchyroll handles its distribution in the West.
Production team
- Shingo Adachi (Sword Art Online, Working!!) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios A-1 Pictures.
- Muru Imigi (Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!, Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!) is in charge of character design.
- Asura (Ben-To, TiN-So: Kimi ga Te ni Suru Ore no Ex Machina, Eiyuu Toshi no Bakadomo) handled the original story.
- Kimika Onai (costume design by Nogizaka46, Sakurazaka46) was in charge of designing the uniforms.
Lycoris Recoil Synopsis
Set in Cafe Rikoriko, a Japanese-style coffee shop in central Tokyo, the series shows how the ever-smiling Chisato Nishikigi and cool Inoue Takina respond to customers’ various requests, such as ordering coffee and sweets, making deliveries, taking them home at night on a lonely night and talk about zombies and giant monsters...
