Mashle manga is getting an anime adaptation

In the latest issue of the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump will be officially announced that the manga written and illustrated by Hajime Kumoto, mashle (Mashle: Magic and Muscles), will have an anime adaptation. The information was confirmed from a photograph of one of the promos for the twelfth compilation volume of the work, but no production details or a scheduled release date were revealed.


Koumoto began publication of the manga through the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from the publisher Shueisha in January 2020. The publisher published the eleventh compiled volume in May 2022, and will publish the twelfth on July 4 in Japan.
Synopsis for Mashle
To everyone else in his magic-dominated world, young and powerless Mash Vandead is a threat to the gene pool and must be purged. Living secretly in the forest, he spends every day training his body, building muscles strong enough to compete with magic itself.
