NieR: Automata anime to resume next week

After the rebroadcast of the third episode, it was announced that the anime adaptation of the video game NieR: Automata will resume next February 18 in Japan with its fourth episode. Let’s remember that the series had been restarted since January 28 to give production time to recover from the alleged havoc caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on the schedule.
In its statement a few weeks ago, the production claimed that the COVID-19 pandemic had caused the suspension, but many fans in the comments on the original post doubted that this was the real reason. It should be remembered that many Aniplex productions face extremely tight production schedules, which leads to imminent production problems. The COVID-19 pandemic is still a perfect excuse to cover up these kinds of situations.

The series has been broadcast since January 7, without yet officially confirming the number of episodes it will have, while the platform crunchyroll is in charge of its distribution in the West.
