Oshi no Ko Anime Reveals Its Opening Theme in New Trailer
During a live broadcast this Sunday on the official channel of the anime adaptation of the manga written by aka akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, Oshi no Ko (My Star), a new promotional video for the series was released. In this preview you can hear the opening theme of the series “Idol” performed by the Japanese duo yaosobi.
It should be remembered that the anime will premiere next April on Japanese television, but an extended 90-minute version of the first episode will be shown in theaters in the Japanese country starting on March 17. Distribution in the West will be in the hands of the platform HIDIVE.
It was also announced that the seiyuu megumi han will join the voice cast to play Kana Arima.
Akasaka and Yokoyari began publishing the manga in the magazine. Weekly Young Jump from the publisher Shueisha in April 2020. aka akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) writes it while Mengo Yokoyari (Kuzu no Honkai) illustrates it, and the work already exceeds 2 million accumulated copies in circulation.
- daisuke hiramaki (Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita!, Koisuru Asteroid, Selection Project) is in charge of directing the project in the studios Doga Kobo with the assistance of Saori Tachibana (Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san, Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi).

Synopsis of Oshi no Ko
16-year-old Ai Hoshino is a talented and beautiful idol who is adored by her fans.
