On the official Twitter account for the magazine fire comic it was announced that the light novels written by Fuminori Teshima and illustrated by COMTA, An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride (Maou no Ore ga Dorei Elf wo Yome ni Shitanda ga, Dou Medereba Ii?), will have an anime adaptation. The press release did not reveal production details or a scheduled release date.

Fuminori Teshima publication of the light novels began through the imprint Hobby Japan in February 2017, and the publisher will publish the sixteenth compilation volume on November 1 in Japan. Hako Itagaki is in charge of a manga adaptation that is published in the magazine fire comic since February 2018.

Synopsis for An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride

Zagan is feared by the masses as an evil sorcerer. Socially awkward and foul-mouthed, he spends his days studying sorcery while taking down intruders in his domain. One day he is invited to a dark auction, and what he finds there is an elf slave of unrivaled beauty, Nephy. In love with her at first sight, Zagan uses all of her fortune to buy her, but since he is a bad talker, he has no idea how to properly relate to her. Thus begins the awkward coexistence between a sorcerer who has no idea how to convey his love and his slave who yearns for his master, but he has no idea how to attract him.
