Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii anime reveals its first trailer

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Wakame Konbu, Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii (The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious), the first promotional video of the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for July 23 in Japan and shows a fragment of the opening theme titled “Su, Suki Janai! (I-I Don’t Love You!)” and performed by ≠ME.

Konbu began publication of the manga in the magazine Gangan Joker from the publisher Square Enix in January 2020, although he had already been publishing it independently through the portal pixiv. The publisher published the fifth compiled volume on February 22 in Japan, while Konbu is also the author of the manga. Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai! (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!).

Despite her paranoia, Lilith grows fond of Yurri and often teases him to further her relationship. Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii revolves around the relationship between the cautious Yuuri and his wonderfully charming maid in this quirky everyday rom-com.
