Spy Comedy Mission: Yozakura Family Might Get an Anime
A leak from Weibo claimed that the manga written and illustrated by Hitsuji Gondaira, Mission: Yozakura Family (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen), will have an anime adaptation. The leak did not reveal any production details or a scheduled release date, and it should be noted that it is not confirmed yet.
Hitsuji Gondaira the publication of the manga began in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from the publisher Shueisha in August 2019. The publisher published the thirteenth compiled volume in June 2022, and will publish the fourteenth on September 2 in Japan. Gondaira is also the author of other works such as Poro no Ryuugakuki and the one shot Genjui Toteku.
Synopsis for Mission: Yozakura Family
High school student Taiyou Asano has been socially inept ever since his family was killed in a car accident. The only person he can properly relate to is his childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura, the head of the strongest spy family in the world. Mutsumi’s older brother, Kyouichirou Yozakura, is overprotective of her ever since she once seriously injured her. Her love for Mutsumi is lethal, and Taiyou is her next target. In order to survive, Taiyou must marry Mutsumi and become a member of the Yozakura family. Thrown headlong into chaos, Taiyou begins his journey to become a powerful spy in order to protect his wife and uncover the dark secrets of his and the Yozakura family’s past.
