Spy Kyoushitsu Anime Reveals 2023 Premiere With New Trailer
On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Takemachi and illustrated by Tomari, Spy Kyoushitsu (Spy Classroom), a new trailer was released, and more members of the project’s voice cast, including:
- Miku Itu like Grete.
- Nao Toyama like Sibylla.
- Aoi Yūki like Monika.
- Sumire Uesaka like Thea.
- Ayane Sakura like Sarah.
- Tomori Kusunoki like Annett.
The series is scheduled to premiere in 2023 in Japan, while no platform has yet announced its distribution in the West. For their part, Takemachi and Tomari began publishing the light novels through the publishing label Fujimi Fantasia Bunko from the publisher fujimishobo in January 2020. Finally, the manga adaptation by the hand of Kaname Seu is published through the magazine Monthly Comic Alive from the publisher Kadokawa since May 2020.

Synopsis for Spy Kyoushitsu
After a horrific war wreaked havoc on the general population, the world’s governments resorted to a more elusive tactic to further their agendas: a war waged in the shadows. Lily, a beautiful white-haired girl, is a student at one of the many institutions that train young people to become capable spies. Unfortunately, despite getting good grades on the written exams, she only barely manages to pass the practicals. Without any real-world skills, her hopes of graduating from it are slim, until she is offered the opportunity to join the mysterious “Tomoshibi” team and take part in an impassable mission. Excited by the prospect of working with the elite, Lily enthusiastically accepts. However, she is speechless when she arrives at Kagerou Palace and Tomoshibi’s true purpose and her desperate situation come to light. Accompanied by other troublesome spies and a mysterious young man spearheading the operation, Lily realizes this isn’t the ideal getaway she envisioned.
