Synopsis for Asobi Asobase
During recess, Olivia, a foreign transfer student who doesn’t know English, plays “look the other way” with Hanako Honda, a screaming airhead. Her rowdy behavior draws the ire of Kasumi Nomura, a deadpan loner who is constantly teased by her older sister for her tendency to lose games. Not wanting to compete, Kasumi turns down Olivia’s offer to join in the fun, but she eventually gets involved anyway and gets up to her own mischief.
A strange friendship soon blossoms between the quirky trio, and they decide to form the “Hobby Club,” where they are free to resume their daily antics. Whether it’s failing to learn English, desperately trying to be popular, or being caught by teachers at the wrong time, school life will never be dull when the Asobi Asobase girls get up to their hilarious pranks.
