Trash gaming arrives with Shangri-La Frontier trailer
On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Katarina and illustrated by ryousuke fuji, Shangri-La Frontier: Crappy Game Hunter Challenges God-Tier Game, the main promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for next October in Japanand shows for the first time the voice of Yuma Uchida as the protagonist of this story.
For his part, Fuji began publishing the manga. Shangri-La Frontier in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from the publisher kodansha in July 2020. The manga is based on the novel series of the same name written by Katarinawhich are published through the site Shoutsuka ni Narou since May 2017. Katarina also wrote an additional series of novels that were published in her own Weekly Shōnen Magazine.

Synopsis of Shangri-La Frontier
Rakurou Hizutome, a second-year high school student, is only interested in one thing: finding “shitty games” and beating them up. His skill at his games is second to none, and no game is too bad for him. So when he’s introduced to the new VR game Shangri-La Frontier, he does what he does best: max out and skip the prologue to jump right into the action. But will even an expert player like Rakurou be able to discover all the secrets that Shangri-La Frontier hides?
